Create a Mendeley Google Drive Addons to allow the same features of the Word Plugin. This will sky rocket Google Drive for the production of articles.

Drive > dropbox, certainly. Collaborative writing with dropbox is as much a nightmare as sending .docx files back and forth (version issues). A good library manager for drive would give the first solid collaborative writing option for academics.

Definitely great idea to have a support for Google Drive or Dropbox (eg: sync, upload ... )

Hi Miguel, Great idea! A similar suggestion was made more than five years ago, when we still referred to Google Docs and Google Drive was not born! (see: http://feedback.mendeley.com/forums/4941-general/suggestions/109067-insert-citations-and-bibliographies-into-google-do)
The feedback has been under review for more than a year and a half now without any further updates. Will appreciate if all the supporters of this thread can link to the earlier one on Google Docs and help convince the Mendeley team about the seriousness and importance of our request.

I 100% agree with this! The additional of Easybib to google docs has already given me pause to consider switching.
