Network Error Message: 'SSL handshake failed'

Mendeley 1.1.3 crashes for me on startup.

I am pretty sure it used to work before, so maybe it was cause by my KDE (and consequently Qt) update. Qt version is 4.7.90.

The error message is:
QSharedPointer: pointer 0x188f3b0 already has reference counting

Fedora 16 ships with Qt 4.8.0, and this is not picked up by Mendeley (doing 'ldd' on libMendeley.so reveals that of the system Qt libraries, all are recognized except for libQtWebKit.so.4, even though it's present); reverting to the bundled Qt 4.6 requires having my own copy of openssl 0.9.8 since the system ships OpenSSL 1.0

There was a problem processing your request -- A report has been filed by the server.

What's up with that?

Love the program, and have recommended it already to many..

The proxy authentication after upgrade to 1.1.2 seems to be broken. This is of course a bigger problem since now it is not possible to upgrade behind a proxy to the (hopefully) fixed version.

When users read a paper, they may want to read a few of the papers referenced in that paper afterwards, but maybe not straight away.
It might be useful to be able to mark those up in a sort of "whishlist" as in Amazon or Librarything.

This would allow you to narrow the filter by entering the first 2 or 3 letters of the author of interest. It would be much cleaner than the author search from the main search window, while still having both methods available for those with personal preferences of how they search by author. Some kind of advanced option would be great here.

When I am reading a internally linked PDF (for example, a citation linked to the corresponding reference) I need a back button. This will allow me to click on citation take a look at the reference and the go back to the sentence I was reading.

Scrivener is now available on Windows as well as OS X and it is a killer program that has great popularity in the academy.

The couple Scrivener+Mendeley would be a total blow to Word+EndNote

when following links in pdf's (like links to the references) it would be great if one could jump back to the original position. Just like the "back to last view" button does in other pdf viewers.

New install of word 2010. New mendeley 1.01. I open a blank document and tried to insert a citation and I get the following error : Citation formatting failed. Thanks.

To make Mendeley work on Ubuntu 11.10, I had to manually install libssl0.9.8. With only the default version installed (libssl1.0.0) I could never get past the "Mendeley can't connect to the internet" screen

I'm currently writing a paper that requires both variables in the bibliography, and I can't seem to edit the csl enough to get them out. According to the CSL language specification, there is no variable for PMID although there is a field for it in Mendeley (just below DOI, which you *can* call in the CSL...)

Right now, if something is flagged as a "thesis" type reference, mendeley automatically assumes PhD thesis. Build in some flexibility on this.
