An application vor Windows Phone 8 would ne very helpful!

Really pissed me off. I couldn't find any way to upload a file. Dropbox is much better and easy

When I discover a new paper via the "Papers" tab I get to know the number of readers of this specific paper. It would be great to have the same functionality with the list of papers in my library, plus getting a list of "suggested papers".

Make it to highlights in three/four colours into in-text.
Yellow for comments
Blue for most relevant quote
Red for important

When Mendeley Desktop is open on my PC (Windows 8), it is constantly "completing task 7,005 of 7,035" and so every single time I add a paper or attempt any other action, it has to think about it for a series of minutes. And those minutes add up. What tasks could Mendeley possibly be completing CONSTANTLY?

Currently I should invite members to join mendeley or my group by entering their email address into the designated field so the invitation email goes over. However, I and many other users, I assume, want to keep the link on their website/blog/email so others can join by clicking the link. thanks

Big findings and controversial articles are often accompanied by editorials from other scientists, comments, and criticisms. Also, journals will publish corrections or retractions as articles. I wish Mendeley allowed sub-articles for the case when one publication directly and uniquely applies to another.

This would clear up the occaisional problem when the editorial article has the same title as the parent article, but a different pub. date and author.

This would allow us to (manually) color-code our libraries according to whatever scheme we like. For example, I could turn listings for articles I've partially read one color and listings for articles with important methods sections orange. This way we wouldn't be limited to the options the software gives us (read/unread, favorite/not favorite).

I have a new idea, some times I have 20 papers or more like Proceedings of the 11th Int. Conference on Digital Audio Effects
(DAFx-08) , I would like to select all proceedings and add manually one time name of city , Year name of editor , name of publisher because it's a same. Ithink it's very pratical if you add fonctionality to do that.

As almost all supplemental information is free it should be possible to simply click a button to add the supplemental documents to an article.

This would be much faster than clicking on the URL link, finding the supplemental information, downloading it, then adding the file to the documents for the article.

The MS Word plug-in doesn't work or appear in Office 2013 Word Preview. Please add support for the add-in on the future release of Office 2013 and Office 365.

Produce a .bib file online without having to download the software

I would like to swich from Bibus to Mendeley (some 4000 references), I can do this by exporting in RIS format.
However, similarly to Mendeley, Bibus is using a hierarchical folder/categores structure to class the references; I have managed to change the RIS export of Bibus to also export the categories of each reference as a custom field; Is it possible to import these into the keywords or tags fields of Mendeley ?
And is it possible to attribute then keywords or tags automatically to folders with the same name ??

i can't use desktop, because should use proxy. i can't use key for exe, because havent admin rights.

I just found that when I tried to filter by publication, it does not give me the exact match of the journal title. For example, if I use 'Cell' as my filter, Mendeley shows Cell, Cell Reports, Cell Stem Cell and so on. It looks like there is no difference between filter and search. For me, it is a little bit weird that the program can recognize different journals but cannot filter with that exact journal name.
