the coming feature of action bar in PDF viewer of Desktop 1.9 alpha is awesome. But you may extend it so that more actions like highlighting can be applied immediately after selection.

My subscription allows me up to 5 members per group. I have a group with 4 members, and I continue getting a message "You are approaching your account limits. You have only 1 free space left to add members. Please upgrade your account." I do not plan to upgrade my account, and I do not plan to exceed the 5 members per group limit. I suggest that such a message be disabled entirely, or at least to include an option not to display the message again. I am using the Mac client version 1.8.4 on a Mountain Lion,

I find the current Graphical User Interface rather outdated. Listing the documents by authors and titles does not entirely help me find the documents I need. It would be interesting to be able to select the documents and get a "sneak preview" instead of having the "Details" tab on the right. In addition, the "read" flag is not in my view very helpful as Mendeley marks the documents as "read" by simply double clicking the file. Please note that simply opening the documents does not necessarily mean that I have read it.

Make it possible to turn off annotations in a document, without discarding them. So that the text more readable again. And when printing from Mendeley Desktop is included, these could also be printed without annotations.

Nice to have platforms like Mendeley and Researchgate to archive research articles.

Although Mendeley now has partial Retina support- many of the icons e.g. the little man beside 'my publications' still look non-retina compliant, which detracts a bit from the program..

This function would allow rapid categorisation of libraries imported from other apps, and of multiple citations imported at the same time from any source.

Just add the simple option to print the file directly form mendeley without having to open it externally. Opening 100's of files to print after opening them externally is really tedious. Especially if you are going on field work to a place without electricity and need physical printed papers to continue working in the field...

It could be easier to have marks in the scrollbar for each highlighted sentences, depending on their position in the document, to find them.

i downloaded almost all reference management softwares on my pc and i compared
after 2 weeks of trying all of them,
i decided to remove all but one of them and that was mendeley

CONTROL + C does not copy the text selected but the whole citation. However, the tooltip on right-click indicates that it should copy the text
