When I am doing a literature review I add all relevant papers to a mendeley collection (folder). Whilst the notes field for individual papers is very useful, what I also want is the ability to make broader notes about the collection as a whole. I'd also like the collection to have an attachments section - I may for example wish to attach notes written in a word processing program or add a pdf exported from a mind-mapping program.
