Subcategories
I really really need the option to create categories under categories. I guess this would be easy to implement. It makes life easier and is supported by all competing systems. I think it should be the user's choice if one prefers tags (always a bit chaotic) or categories. But the latter is useless for complex collections without subcategories!

Providing for a subcollection tree is absolutely critical once you have 1000s of documents. There should be a facility for rules (as in email systems) whereby new documents are automatically funneled into the right [sub]collections.

Hello - This is planned for some point in the future. The implementation is more involved for us than offline-only reference software as we have to be able to show sub-folders on both the client and the web, sync them, merge them and so on. It is on our roadmap though I'm not sure which release it is planned for.
