Mac software update framework
It would be relly nice if you could consider adding update mechanism with use of Sparkle: http://sparkle.andymatuschak.org/ as the software is still in beta version I would love to check if the next edition came up and so on. Sparkle becomes update standard for Mac apps and would be nice to see the consistency developing further.

Mendeley has an auto-upate mechanism built-in, though at the moment there is usually a slight delay between when we roll out releases to new users and when we ship auto-updates, as Mendeley becomes more mature I hope we can reduce this delay.
We can look at Sparkle. However as far as I can tell that is only available for Mac and since we are a small team it helps us to use the same update framework for all the platforms that we support (currently an in-house updater).
