re-organize different tabs
It would be a nice feature to be able to re-organize different tabs when you are reading several pdfs by dragging the tab to the desired position, it would be also cool to add the options close other and close all tabs tabs as similar as mozilla.
Enable tab dragging when multiple references are open, similar to popular web browsers. This allows grouping pdfs together for easier reference.
This has already been raised with our Development Team for consideration for future versions.

Nothing to add to previous comments other than my support and vote.
The heigh of tabs is too much for small screen latops...it would be great to have slim tabs as in any case they display single text line.

I also strongly support this idea - being able to drag tabs and close with middle click would be great. Also possibly some options around display options when many tabs are open; for example being able to choose between having to 'scroll' across a single line, or having the tab bar expand into two lines so they are all visible instead. The closer the tabs functionality is to that of major internet browsers the easier it will be to use.

I think this could be merged with the "Keep 'My Library' tab visible at all times" suggestion:
And renamed to "have better tab management". You should be able to right click on tabs to do things like switching to them, closing them. Having options like close all tabs or reopen closed tab is nice (look at the way Google chrome handles tabs for instance). Having a speed dial is nice as well. (like this: http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/17/2012/01/a3fc32e553d37ed419d536d2d452f711.jpg) Recently added papers, hot papers, different groups, etc can be placed in the speed dials for an easier access as well as an eye candy that will convince lots of people switch to Mendeley.
strongly-desired feature, hope it's available soon.

Dragging tabs helps me organise my thoughts. For example, open pdfs are ones that I am currently reading/using or am going to read/use...placing them in some logical internal order and being able to reflect that in Mendeley would help.
Would be nice!
Please support middle-click for closing tab.
