Fix bug of auto-retreaval of data from PDF with title page.
Some journals (like Am.J.Physiol) generate title page when one downloads papers from them. In such cases Mendeley does not correctly retreave data from PDF. Would be nice to detect these title pages and retreave data correctly.

make mendeley recognise if a pdf is already linked to a another entry
i enabled the watch folder function with the folder that i save all my pdf:s into. when i did this mendeley imported all the files that were there, eventhough all of them were already in the database as attached files to entries. now i have to go through the process of deleting duplicates, because the program didn't recognise that these files are already in the desktop.

While working on a computer w/o Mendeley Desktop installed, it would be great to be able to work on a doc and put in placeholder references provided by the online Mendeley library. Once I'm back to my main computer, Mendeley Desktop replaces those placeholders with proper citations.

Groups of notes
Can we have, on the main screen, one more tab like we have "My library". It could be "My notes" where all the notes will be visible, possibly with option to be grouped. This will enable us to have all ideas in one place and follow the links from there to library documents.

Modify manually the name of paper
Sometime,Mendeley auto identify the name of paper is wrong, Modify the name is necessary.

Extend Administrator privileges for Groups
I think that there should be a way for Administrators of groups to be able to have greater control of the following:
1. The types of documents that are uploaded: When a group member uploads a document, the administrator should receive a notification and should be able to allow/remove the document from the group database.
2. Documents that are already uploaded: In order to avoid accidental deletion of documents, notes, tags, etc., I think that there should be a setting where the Administrator should be the only person who can delete documents from the group database (documents are "locked" for…1 vote -
My Library folders do not show text,
My Library folders do not show text - only empty folders. i can see that there is text associated with each folder if F2 is pressed. Please help.

Automate different IDs to URL lookup (i.e. make DOI/PMID/ArXiV on the website clickable...)
A batch "lookup" action for the Desktop and/or website would also be welcome if automation is too much to ask for

Close pdf windows during sync to prevent sharing conflicts
If you sync while unsaved pdfs are open in the viewer, the sync fails. If you manually close the pdf windows it succeeds. Sounds like a windows sharing conflict to me. Perhaps if the (archive bit?) was set during file open it would work

Problem with Desktop Version missing content
add a few pdfs as a test of desktop version - added/corrected some details manually but it does not display Publisher even though I can see it in details section - is this a known issue ?

Enable importation of LC Subject Headings from WorldCat into the Keywords field
This would be a great time saver for us who use subject headings to aide in cataloguing and free-text searching.

I love mendeley. I have gradually got into using mendeley to read and manage papers, but the pdf viewer is not powerful enoughhttp://feedba.

Allow highlight boxes to be slanted and not be limited to being horizontal and vertical.

Mirror Downloaded Directories
I have an identical file-structure on my computers. When synchronising files, Mendeley dumps all PDFs in own directory (program files), rather than my structure (another partition). This is rather annoying and impractical, as I have to then manually move the PDFs to where i store them.
