bibliography index
It would be nice if In the 'Details' field of each paper is included the Bibtex index of the paper. For example, in Latex one needs to \cite{AuthorYear} in order for Bibtex to associate this citation with the appropriate paper. The AuthorYear index can appear in the 'Details' field. Now you have to export your paper to a .bib file to be able to see how it should be cited and this takes a lot of time, especially if a huge number of sources is used.
Another problem I noticed is that when one adds manually websites and they do…1 vote -
When exporting bib files, for "Web Page" references add the field "howpublished" to the bib entry.
Now urls and access dates are missing from such refs. Alternatively, oyu can allow for template definitions, in which users can define what fields are generated in their bib files.

Include collection information in bibtex files
Currently when "Enable BibTeX syncing" is enabled, then the bibtex files created in connection with this option do not contain any information about what collections a bibtex entry was a part of. This information should also be exported to allow interoperability with reference managers like jabref.

implement a BibTeX pseudo-field "mendeley-folders"
For importing BibTeX files, you already provide a pseudo-field "mendeley-tags", which allows to import contents of the non-standard BibTeX field "tags". It would be nice to support for a similar pseudo-field, e.g., called "mendeley-folders", whose contents would be interpreted as assignments of the corresponding BibTeX entry to existing or non-existing Mendeley folders/subfolders upon import. The pseudo-field's contents could be formatted, e.g., like this
...
mendeley-folders = {foo; foo/bar}
...which would instruct Mendeley to assign the corresponding entry to the folder "foo" and the folder "foo/bar".

Need some way to book mark in the pdf so that I can list the book marks in a file and go back to one later.

Free the used online space
We need to have a better way to control the used online space. It is too difficult to regain the used space. When the 'Synchronize attached files' is unchecked from the desktop application and A Sync is done, no online space gets freed. Either this is an error, or the management of the space is too difficult.
There should be an option to clean all the attached files from online space. Then I could re-arrange my local collections and re-sync them to online.

option to mirror personal and group libraries/ folders
I would like to be able to set certain folders within my groups/personal library as 'mirrored'. That way, if I add or modify an entry in either, the changes are mirrored in the other folders. In some ways this may seem like redundant storage, although it would saving me from performing the same operation 2,3 or even 4 times across multiple folders.

pdfs are lost when sync
When Mendeley syncs with zotero, some pdf attachments are lost, and with them all the annotations and highlitights I've done. I guess that it's because I changed some information in some of the zotero fields, but this should not happen. Is there any way to recover highlithgs and annotations in order to avoid re-reading again all the lost pdfs?

Save individual "Type of work" for Article-Type "Generic"
When using Article-Type "Generic" Mendeley should remember which "Type of Work" you already used.
Those types of work should also been shown on your mendeley-web-profile (instead of just "generic"Thanks :-)

include type recognition for patents
When I import a patent as PDF it will properly recognize the inventors and such, but will not set the type to "patent" but to journal article... it would be lovely if that would work automatically as well

Under All Documents / Edit Settings, match organization of selected folders with organization in My Library.
The organization of folders you can select to sync do not match how they're organized in your library. Subfolders are flattened, so all folders are at the same level, and it's not chronological or even alphabetical. I'm not sure how it's organized at all actually, and I have to manually search and match the folders I want to sync. This can be a tedious process if you work in an interdisciplinary field and have a large library with many folders and subfolders.

to a better integration of the web importer with google chrome.
Today, the web importer appears as a pop up, which makes importing articles a painful work. I suggest something like poket or evernote extension does.
