Send citation to Word from file being worked in, not file highlighted in library
When I am working in Word and Mendeley and attempt to send a citation to Word, Mendeley often sends the wrong citation. This is sometimes because Mendeley automatically selects whatever has been added to my library (which I often do while I am working), or I open a new article but then attempt to cite the original one I had open. I did not notice this problem until I had written the entire lit review of my thesis. documents which need review should be searched by title one by one?
I have 400 documents, The soft update about 200 documents, the others need review, what I want to know is these which need review have to search by title one by one?

Import&Export from own institutional repository
It would be nice if Mendeley allows for plug-ins such as import/export of data from/to particular institutional repository.

Add Summary field next to Title field
I'd like to be able to have a single, short summary that appears instead of the title of a paper, or next to it. Many titles are general or vague, and this way I could see immediately what the true substance of the paper is (for me).
For example, instead of the title "Expert credibility in climate change", I would summarize the paper's content: "97-98% of climate scientists agree that anthropogenic climate change is occurring". The latter is much more informative to me. I'd have to type it in myself, but I'd be glad to.

allow files to be dragged and dropped to the files field
Mendeley Desktop should allow files to be dragged to its files field.

Add a check box so the researcher can indicate whether the journal is Peer Reviewed or not
This would be helpful and save a lot of time. It would also be helpful if Mendeley could have a plug in for the Ulrichweb search engine so the information can automatically when adding an article to the desktop.
In the end though, I would be happy with just a checkbox.

Order search results by how many people are reading the paper or how many members or followers a group has, etc.
Please order search results by how many people are reading the paper or how many members or followers a group has, etc. This would make a nice default mode to order by popularity, and likely by usefulness. Of course a general feature to allow sorting by any aspect of the paper (titile, author, date) would be nice as well, but that is not a new topic.

Reorganize Medicine / Healthcare related disciplines
1 Create a super-section of healthcare
2. place medicine as a discipline under this super-section
3. Make room for other non-medical healthcare disciplines under this super-section
4. Make room for the discipline of audiology

Deleted documents that are reimported have wrong date
I manually moved some documents on my computer, so I went into Mendeley and deleted them (since I haven't had luck with re-attaching the file in the new location, in the linux version). When I reimported them, they had the same "add" date, so they didn't show up in the "Recently Added" category

Notify for annotations
Just as notifications are set for other updates across Mendeley, there should be notifications sent when a private group member adds annotations to a document in the group. This would be useful when working collaboratively on research.

Allow groups to include entries from rss feeds
Groups would be much more useful if they could merge in news from feeds on other sites (i.e., from any rss feed).

Selecting parts of article with a rectangle
Could You implement a selecting tool like it is in Preview on Mac or in Acrobat, that would allow the user to select a rectangle area (maybe not only rectangle) and to copy it into the clipboard.
I often want to copy a chart or table from an article and have to open the file externally to be able to do it.1 vote -
results for multiple searches
Now the result from a single search can be displayed. If I want to do another search, the previous result will be replaced by the new result. Is it possible to display each result into a separate tab. So that I can also keep the previous result, while doing a new document search.

Make automatic tags "no tag" or add to filter articles with no tags
I manage many articles, when i put new i do not have time to read them at the moment and put it in some category (tag). Later I can not reach that articles which ones have no tags if i open them before. Some articles i read five times before putting into special category. So it takes a lot time to check articles which ones do not have any tag at the moment.

Cannot see names of folders with Windows 7 largest text size
Unfortunately I more or less have to use Windows 7 option for the largest possible text size (150%). When I do thisthe names of the folder in the Mendely desktop vanish. They are there for small and medium text size.
