We have added this to our list of features to add in a future version of Mendeley Desktop, and should hopefully add this in the future. Please do bear in mind that this is of lower priority at the moment, as we are working on exciting new features, but we are looking at it. Apologies for any inconvenience caused in the meantime.

Just a quick question does "Remove from collection" = "Delete from current folder"? I suggest renaming the button or the organising system so they both have the same name.
It would be nice to have a section in the Getting Started Guide on Folders, because I drop papers into folders as I read them and then I'll add them to a group later. My folders tend to be renamed, combined and split up as I work through papers, as I wrap around the information and there's very little on folders in the help documentation.
