I first want to echo what I've seen in other comments with regards to a tablet specific version.

Also, I just want to point out that (at least last time I checked) Android still has the bigger market share than iOS. And I would imagine that within the research community there is a strong tendency towards Android due to it's higher level of openess. So, this really does seem like the most natural extension of what is already a very impressive, great system.
